Miguel Concha, also known as Mickel Jackson, is considered one of the best Michael Jackson impersonators in the world. Numerous newspapers and prestigious magazines such as Rolling Stone have recognized him as the best impersonator in South America.
With over 30 years as an artist, dancer, and singer, his career is firmly established. He began imitating Michael Jackson at the age of five. In addition to his training as a physical education teacher, he has studied under Lavelle Smith Jr. and Milo Levell (choreographers for Michael Jackson, Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Usher, among others) and in 2016 performed alongside Michael’s principal choreographer, Lavelle Smith Jr., which allowed him to absorb first-hand the same techniques and passion as the King of Pop.
He has paid tribute to Michael Jackson in various countries, including Spain, France, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Italy, Lithuania, Norway, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Sweden, Slovenia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, and others—drawing crowds of over 30,000 people in concerts such as the one in Gijón (Spain).
His performances are a testament to perseverance, respect, and admiration for his idol—not only in his concerts but also through his humanitarian work, visiting children’s hospitals and organizing charity shows. Miguel’s resemblance to Michael Jackson in appearance, gestures, dance, and wardrobe earned him official recognition as the artist’s impersonator by Sony Music in 1996.
He has participated in the filming of the Serbian movie Monument to Michael Jackson, directed by Darko Lungulov and released in November 2014, as well as major television programs such as the Inocente, Inocente gala on Spain’s TVE, where he took part in a prank on the Spanish singer Abraham Mateo (2015). In 2018, he joined the European tour Score with the famous Croatian musicians 2Cellos. Miguel’s electrifying performances are undeniable examples of dedication, perseverance, and versatility—and an expression of his deep admiration and utmost respect for his idol, Michael Jackson.
